Iron on - Taylor Hawkins' Hawk - Vinyl Iron-Ons, Set of Two - now in black or white
You will receive two vinyl iron-ons - one of each design. Both feature an image of Taylor Hawkins' black hawk and measure 4 inches wide by 2.12 inches high. One is a solid black and the other has the FF logo cut out of the center.
Other sizes available on request.
*now available as a set in white*
I'm still feeling the loss of Taylor and at the request of a Foo friend, I'm making these available so you can iron these onto an item of your choice. I hope this will help fans keep his memory alive.
Please contact me if you would like a color other than black. If you would like two of one of the designs instead of one of each, please make a note of your preference on your order.
*****Please note that there is not a shirt or tote included and this is only an iron on - You supply the shirt or item. The images show how the placement could appear on a women's medium T shirt or tote.*****
Iron-on instructions for home iron (a copy of this will be included in your order). I do suggest your test your iron on an inconspicuous area first to be sure the fabric can take the heat.
Apply
1. Use the Cotton/Linen setting (generally the highest temperature setting). Make sure the steam setting is OFF.
2. Cover your work area with a towel to protect the surface or use an ironing board.
3. Preheat the application area of the item for 10-15 seconds to remove excess moisture.
4. Remove the white backing from the iron-on. Place the iron-on, plastic shiny liner side up, onto the preheated material. Cover the plastic with a thin piece of fabric, like a cotton scrap, a pillowcase or a tea towel. Most home irons heat unevenly, so this prevents hot spots from melting the plastic or scorching the fabric..
5. Press firmly with medium pressure for 25-30 seconds on one part of the design. Lift up the iron, reposition it, and press again for 25-30 seconds, until you have covered the entire area. If your iron has steam holes, be sure each section of the design has been pressed with the flat area of the iron.
Important: Do not slide the iron as it could cause the design to move out of position.
6. Flip the material over and apply medium pressure with the iron to the back for an additional 25-30 seconds as you did before.
7. Let cool completely. Start by gently peeling away the plastic liner from the design. If the design begins to lift off with the liner, stop and replace the liner. Cover again, and iron at high heat for 10 seconds on both sides. Repeat as necessary, until the design is fully bonded to the item.
Care
- Wait 24 hours before washing.
- For the longest life, wash and dry the item inside-out.
- If areas of Iron-On material lift after washing, simply follow the application instructions to reapply.
